Thanks a bunch for all the help Roy. I have found what I am looking for, just need to get it ordered. Thank god it wasn't too serious. I think I will baby this car until I get a new rear end put on it. Sucks not being able to drive it! I think i might step up to 4.10 gears while this thing is torn apart, but I'm not sure how wise that is on the stock rear.

If you want I've got some 3.23's w/ the pinion, shims etc. You'll just need a new crush sleeve. Only have 50K on the gears. Just something to consider if you are pressed.

Thanks for the offer. I got a pinion installation kit on the way already from Summit. What is the stock gear ratio on the WS6?

Update: Got the parts today! I will definately be using Summit again for parts. The price was right and they got them here in less than a week. The guy will install everything on Tuesday, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

He said he's done a few GM diffs before, so I am sure all will be fine.

The car is fixed, I pick it up and pay for it tomorrow. (400 euros-ish). Hopefully it's back together and in good order. Hopefully an update tomorrow!

Wish I could tell you, as I still don't have it back yet. I had to beg and plead with Pass and ID to bend the rules a bit and give me temp plates again even though I am only a month into my 3-month non-op. They were pretty cool about it, so i have another 30 days to try to register this beast. I still may have to get tires for it, so if anyone here has any that are good enough to pass inspection for sale, let me know. Anyway, got the temp plates dropped off to the mechanic, he said he wanted to test drive it and check the axles and stuff again, which is good. I am just looking forward to driving it again!! Hopefully he gives me good news tomorrow. Another update will follow!

Update: got the car back, FINALLY! It runs like a champ. I am noticing a slight whine, barely audible from the rear end, but I think that's just from paying closer attention now. Otherwise, it's good to go. Now just got to get it registered. It's nice to have it back though. Thanks again Roy for the help, it's definately appreciated.

UPDATE: FINALLY GOT IT TO PASS INSPECTION!!! Got new tires for the rear, put the old rear tires on the front. Those jackasses at the Spang inspection place still almost failed me, this time for the front tires being worn. They were looking at the outside edges, but I told them the actual tread was good and they said ok. So, 4 months and 100's of Euros later, this thing is finally passed. Went to get it registered, and the damn pass and id place was closed for commander's call. Oh well, at least it's passed. Thanks again Roy for the help. Now I can start modding it!
