Unless it was delivered from GM w/ Z-rated tires, it's most likely governed at 197km/h ... at least my 98 was ... it could probably go something like 230 or more I'd say, judging that in 5th it still has a good 1000 rpm left till redline ...
Anyway, with stock suspension I'd strongly advise against going that fast
Welcome, by the way ...

thanks Garry for your reaction,
My tires needs replacement and i want to put some Michelin Pilot sport A/S 245/50/ZR16 or Cooper Zeon 2XS 245/50/ZR16 on.
if my car has a speed limiter, is this difficult to disable (shut down) ?
greetings Patrick

You need to reprogram the PCM (HP Tuners etc) or get a custom PCM.
I have a (quite dubious) Intense-PCM and the speed limiter is removed for sure... but, like Garry said, with the stock suspension it's nothing you really want to do, first bend... and start praying.

What are you talking about, first bend? First dip in the road and the rear end is something like 2ft to the left or right ... while going straight! It's hard to get to a bend that way
If you really do want to go that fast, you may want to get some combination of:
- Sway Bars (like BMR)
- PHR
- STB
- SFCs (might be omitted if you you have a hardtop w/o T-Tops, not sure)
If you have a 'vert, get all of the above for sure! Additional parts might improve the drive quality even further.
On my Convertible, I know it was impossible to do anything beyond 140k safely with the stock suspension ... Sway Bars and PHR helped keep the car straight, but still required some steering efforts at 160 and above ... (with 235/255 wheels)

Oh, true, sorry... i had a buddy in the passenger seat getting quite pale-faced and asking "WHAT WAS THAT?!?" when that happened at 180kph..
But you get a nice short view on the scenery when the back end moves left or right.

I tuned a 2000 3.8L V6-Camaro a few weeks ago. It was an european model with the 4L60E and had already upgraded to 245/50 ZR 16 tires (eagle gs-cs). Looking to its tune with HPtuners the speed limiter stock was set at exactly 201 Km/h. Now it's set at 249 Km/h and car pulls till 240 Km/h (speedometer) no problem.

Thanks for the reactions,
My english is not so very well, What is a PHR, STB and SFC ?
And the standaard swaybars are they not thick enough ?
To remove the speed limiter is this difficult (for a tuning company) ?

PHR = Panhard Rod
STB = Strut/Shock Tower Brace (Domstrebe)
SFC = Subframe Connectors
Standard swaybars are a joke, especially on V6 cars ... front is a 30mm (though IIRC V6 are even thinner) hollow tube, rear a 19mm. The only thing worse than driving with them is driving completely without any swaybars ... (I tried )
For comparison: BMR front swaybar is something like 32mm, rear 21mm, both SOLID ...
Removing the speed limiter isn't hard, it just costs at least a license (unless the tuner has a stream licence for all V6 f-bodies of that year).
