Hi,
there are several Topics about swaybars, difficult subject.
i want to replace the orginal 28mm front Tubular, and 15mm solid rear.
The fabrics BMR (32mm front and 22mm back solid) and Strano Performance are the favorites to read.
Which brand are the best for my car, i want to have it somewhat stiffer (for highspeed) but not so stiff, some comfort would be fine.
what is the best to replace both, or just the back or front ?
greetings Patrick

Hm ... what brand is the rear you have in? If it's already better than stock, it might be sufficient to replace the front only ... as for ride quality, I don't think the car got any rougher to drive after I had the swaybars in ... my 'vert didn't feel any "worse" as far as being uncomfortable to drive in even with all the suspension changes I did (sway bars, pan hard rod, stb, sfc). Only much less unpredictable

The stuff from Strano is very good, I have his (front) bar on my car.

hi Garry
Both front and rear are orginal, maybe is has to do with the RPO-codes:
Y87,F41,GU5,G80.
i figured out what those codes mean, and i realized that the "standard" American Camaro is different than the Camaro for the European Camaro.
i measured the rear swaybar and is something like 15mm.
for Example the seats for all the european Camaro's are seats from a firebird, for some reason ?

If they are stock, the rear should be hollow tube, too... Quote: for Example the seats for all the european Camaro's are seats from a firebird, for some reason ?
Yes, because of the adjustable head rests ... I reckon there are some european laws requiring them to be height adjustable ... other differences: hight-adjustable headlights, rear fog light, no DRL ...

hi, Garry,
if i buy a set of BMR 32mm front and 21mm rear, with poly bushings.
Must i replace all the other bushings ?
if i must believe the Catalog of Classic Industries, Rubber bushings and poly bushings don't mix.
the reason (classic Industries): the other rubber bushings worn out fast, if i replace the swaybar bushings from rubber to poly.
greetings Patrick

I replaced the sway bars w/ poly bushings in 01 I think, never had any problems with the rubber bushings afterwards ... just make sure you grease the poly bushings Learned that the hard way after swapping the stuff onto my Hawk ...

hi Garry,
thanks for your advice,
Another question, did you order by BMR yourself, or did somebody else (another Company) order it for you.
