So here I am sitting at Fort Hood, training an IBCT deploying to Iraq and I thought I should check up on you guys. I feel like "He said POOP", and rightly so, but I pulled a major George on you guys. I honesly feel like "He said POOP", especially because I never thought I could be capable of doing that, especially since my post count might have come under attack.

Anyway, I hope you guys aren't like me, and you care, but I sold the Z at the beginning of '06 because I was just sick of having the engine rebuilt. I also sold the bug last year, and now I'm just driving a boring Jeep Patriot. I also have an '07 HD Sportster 1200R that I enjoy riding the HOV lane with. As soon as I pay that off, I'm gonna start looking for another bitchin' ride, because I just simply cannot drive a 4 cylinder. LOL. I also have a project bike that I'm working on. It's a '77 kawasaki kz400 that i'm turning into a bobber.

I hope you guys can forgive me. I miss you all. Germany was tons o' fun and I can't believe that most of you are ACTUALLY STILL THERE! That is nuts.

I'm seriously considering it, but I refuse to pay $10K more than the sticker, which will probably happen like it did with the Mustang. I might just try to find a nice GT. I really like them, and it would hold me over until I could actually afford a new 'maro.

EDIT: it's funny that after 2 years of not posting I'm still number 1. :dunno:

BTW, I cried when the guy picked up the Z. It was a very emotional experience, after 6 years of trials and tribulations.

You know I've been trying to search for you on LS1tech for years to no avail. I even sent emails and got nothing. I just knew you were totally done w/ the car scene.

I've got less than 80 days and I'm out of here after 8 yrs...and it's gonna suck but all things come to an end. It's good to know you are alive and well and thought about us over here.

Roy, are you in the HQ? I drove the CG for almost 2 years.

John I just couldn't deal with that car anymore, but within the next year or so, I can definitely feel something else coming around.

I always thought you were gonna come back to TX. We might move to Austin next year. We are really getting sick of Htown. I don't think I got any emails from you. I definitely would have answered them.

Well isn't that some chit? Small world. Well I'm staying positive and so far I've heard really nothing negative about the place or the "canes" for that matter. I know house aren't cheap in that area. I may just sit on the fence a little longer before making my 1st purchase.
