A10beav is the guy to listen to for the 3rd Gen stuff.
Are you trying to restore it to original or modify it?

Of course you won't scan the whole catalog,I saw once that type of catalog and its very big.I want to buy that catalog, but they won't send in my country. I Know all about the engine, but I dont know much about the interior parts, rubber seals and the body(especialy the front parts). Thanks again and forgive me for my bad english, but in my country I'm the only one who love this type of car and I don't know where else to ask for help. After I will finish to restore my car I think I'll sleep in it

Did you check out yearone.com? They seem to have their whole catalog online ... they have most anything that one could look for when restoring a car ...

I'm from Romania. If you want I can send you the money. Happy trip I dream to go in US but I have a major problem "scare of flying". When I bought my car I received it in Rotterdam and after drive it in my country.I still want to see the day when I will have the courage to go in US and buy a few Camaro and Firebirds.

You just have to get yourself up there, it's a lot safer than the drive you took! It's all mind over matter.
I'll let you know if I found a manual when I get back.

Something like this: http://cgi.ebay.de/Service-Handbuch-Che ... dZViewItemLOL - even comes with a free english-german dictionary Anyway, ordering off of Amazon is probably cheaper, same book for 21€ new, used from ~14€ ...

I'll let you know if I found a manual when I get back. That's what scares me.I don't want to see my mind all over the matter.

Yep, that's exactly what you need. Let me know soon if you decide to order it online, I leave for the states tomorrow, but I'll try to check this site in a few days.

That's basically what you need. The cars are the same structurally and only have a few different interior parts or body panels. This book isn't going to give you part numers, it'll tell you how to tear apart and reasemble the car.
They usually combine both cars into one manual, I'll see if I can find one of those.

My bad - of course Amazon has the Firebird version of the manual, too ... (guess I was already sleeping when I posted ...) http://www.amazon.de/Pontiac-Firebird-A ... 476&sr=8-6

We have a GM dealership in Homburg Germany that you could possibly order from. Maybe that would help..

Yes, you can order from the states, but it will cost more because of import tax and shipping. You may be able to order parts from the GM network in Europe (i.e. Opel), but you'll still pay the higher costs. A 2nd car is a good idea if you can find one in decent shape.
