I have to say that I have not been impressed with the styling, but after seeing the realworld pics.....hell yeah! That looks great!
The only thing I still do not care for is the chunkiness of the interior. Everything looks so bulky.

Hey thanks guys...I've never owned a Camaro before this one but have had a blast so far!
A few mods this summer (suspension wise and maybe full exhuast) and then maybe, maybe a blower for her come spring time!

WOW, It is beautiful. I love the car. How does it drive, both straight line and twisties? I'm in Tennessee and saw my first one for real. They are beautiful cars. Can't believe you haven't had it to the track yet. Have you picked on any Mustangs on the street yet??? The great thing is that it will keep getting stronger up to about 5K miles when it gets loosened up. I'm sure you are enjoying it a lot. Wish I could go for a ride in it, but it may be better that I can't, Anxious to hear the times.
Jerry

Jerry...good to hear from you...when you making it back to Texas?
Drives really nice, lots of power! The ride is smooth too and great in the corners! I should have my PeddersUSA full suspension on in the next month or so and then I'll start looking for the exhaust system. Thinking of going with Stainless Works for LT headers, cats, pipes and mufflers.
Heard anything about PeddersUSA or Stainless Works?
Times this weekend I hope...
Talk soon!

Talk soon! Stainless works makes good products, they are a little pricey though:) I recommend them, ran some of thier headers in the past, on a mustang of course:)

First time on the track this weekend...got a 13.8 with a 2.4 60' time and trapped at 106 mph.
Yeah....terrible I know!! First time launching the car and really had trouble coming out. I tired with traction control on, then off and did better of course with it off. (I also haven't drove a rwd car in 15 years or so...I'll need to get use to it some!)
Just have to learn the car and the clutch some more and I think I can pull a 13.3 or better out of it!
Didn't try the launch control feature either but will try this Wednesday night...I'll update as I get my times.

Nice for a stock car ... guess on a sticky track, you ought to get the 60 down quite a bit ...

Hey guys...got back to the track last night and while I posted the same time (13.8 @ 106)...I did cut my 60 foot times down last night!
Ran 4 times and pulled a 2.3 to start but last run I got a 2.1! Still ran the same as my 2.4 run so gettign out of the hole better but need to work on shift points now.
Looking at the time slips, I was .3 fast to 60 feet, .2 faster to 300, .1 fast to 1,000 and then .100 faster at the end. SO it's in my shift points and how fast I can shift.
I'm also learning how to speed shift and tried that last night for the first time...not lifting the gas to shift is tough to do when it's such a habit!!
I launched at 3500rpms on my 2.1 60 foot run so I think I've found the sweet spot...maybe 4K is the answer and will try again when I head out.
There was a car that broke at half track so we waited an hour for them to clean it up or I would have got a few more runs in...4 was decent though and I'll get back soon...car has 4,900 miles on her now too...so starting to loosen up more!

I drove out from San Antonio last Saturday to Murrieta California to drop my car off to RKSport. They are a licensed GM accessories company doing mostly exterior/interior modificaitons but also sell performance parts like exhausts, superchargers and other things.
They have my Camaro SS for the next 12 weeks to prepare her for SEMA 2009. Yes, my Camaro SS will be at SEMA 2009 fully dressed and ready to kill!
Right now, I can't really say what all is being done as they don't want anything out there to show what the plan is...but I have seen the design and it will be one heck of a Camaro SS! Not just looks, but performance as well.
I'll try to keep some updated pics as I get them and will post here for you to see...
More to come...

Nice! So, did you talk them in to sponsoring all of the mods?
