					| I was missing two things when I saw this T/A in Berlin: a camera and my car! I was driving my rented Smart Car when a pristine green late 80's T/A pulled up next to me at a light. I'm sure he was wondering why this idiot in Smart Car was staring at his car, which is why I wish I had been driving mine...then maybe he would've understood._________________

					| Yeah, how was Berlin? I've been trying to go, but something always happens at work and I can't get away. _________________

					| I can honestly say that Berlin is the coolest German city I have been to. There is so much to do, tons of history to check out, and it's cool learning about how life was in a split city during the cold war. We've already planned a return trip, just not sure if we'll get to do it while we're stationed here or have to fly over from England. No biggie since Ryan(fleece)air is decently priced. If there is one German city I would say is a must-see, Berlin is it. _________________

					| Very cool. Did you plan the trip yourself? Where did you go/stay? _________________

					| When I was there last, I had a small hotel near the Bahnhof Zoo train station ... (no, they didn't charge by the hour ). The room was rather small, so with two people it would be a tight fit - but just for sleeping there, it was just fine ... came with breakfast, and even had Wifi internet in the lobby (also in the rooms, but you had to pay for using it there) ... I think it was something in the 60€ price range, which was really a bargain with it being right in the middle of Berlin ..._________________

					| We stayed in a place close to Checkpoint Charlie called the Adina Hotel Checkpoint Charlie (go figure). It was a hotel with apartments, and the price really wasn't bad for what we got. Plus the restaurant downstairs was an Austrailian style tapas place. I recommend kangaroo if you've never tried it! We checked out the Brandenberg Gate, the East Side Gallery (a long stretch of the Berlin wall still intact with lots of cool grafitti), and a whole bunch of other places as well. Too much there to do in one weekend. An amazing city, and we'll definitely go back. _________________
