After almost five long years at Fort Stewart, Georgia I am finally headed back to Germany. I did ship the Camaro even though it will never pass any vehicle inspection. A little hard to do with no wipers and a few extreme mods. I am just going to register it as a recreational/race car and trailer it to every event. That is what I do here anyways. I also shipped my 2007 GMC Sierra 2500hd Duramax. I do look forward to the racing events in Germany and being around my old friends.

I will be there in a few weeks. The car and truck should be there at the beginning of December. I hated having to give my car over to the shipping company. I did turn the rev limiter down from 7500 to 6100 just in case they wanted to take a few joy rides.

You suck! Lucky bastard....congrats man, I'm happy for ya! Wish I could make my way back there but that's not in the plans until around 2020.

I will consider myself lucky when my investment gets there in one piece.

WHere are you headed to?
AS for the race registration , go to the DMSB Website and get your self a Motorsport license. It will make registering your race vehicle as a race vehicle a lot easier.

I am headed to Vilseck to the Stryker Brigade. I see that you finally retired. How does it feel?

Welcome back! Hope your baby gets here safely! (why not something like 2500 RPM? and 30mph speed limit?)

Thanks Gary. 2500rpm would not get it past the stall converter plus it needs to rev some because of the cam. I forgot about the speed limiter. I just rewired the speedometer signal through the left from ABS sensor. It hasn't worked since I did the TH350 swap.

I hate to hear it. Hopefully it is for the best. I only have a few good years left in me. See, when I PCS'd to Fort Stewart I actually PCS'd to Iraq and deployed to Fort Stewart. I spent half my time here in the sand box. I should have just stayed in Germany.

Strange would be a good term on how I feel right now. So Roy, what are you doing now since being retired? Are you working or are letting those old bones get some much needed R&R? Been retired a yr and 2 mos now and haven't gone back to work...yet. If I do it's only for mod money for the Z06.

I got a 20 hr a week gig so that I could still retain logistcal support over. Other than that I sleep till I'm hungry and eat till I am sleepy.

I can't wait to return so I can do exactly that. 20 hrs, no more. And spend my days out at the Ring's. Guess I'll just have to live through you for now....2020 is the return date unless our good forturne changes.
