Well I got back to Bragg a little early . So I am building my wifes car now. Its a LX mustang with a 5.0 bored 30 over ( 306), forged internals, 10:1 compresion Eldebrock heads T, trick flow intake, 3:73 gears. B&M shift kit with 3000 stall converter,1.6 roller rockers, 70 mm throttle body, 73 mm mass air, 30 lbs injectors, Long tube headers, off road H pipe, msd ignition, custom cam. And soon a vortech with a small amount of boost( compression is to high for a lot of boost). And the real kick is that it is going to be pink with white flames. And some of you may get the chance to race her because we will be reenlisting to come back to germany. And if you were not beating me in my stang while I was there then you sure the hell wont be beating her.So if you have a pink Mustang pull up next to you and it is whistling I hope you are packing. And yes my wife can drive too. The only thing that worrys me is that she will beat me too. I am putting a T-trim in mine with 46 lbs injectors. I am running miid to high 11s with an a trim right now. I figure my wifes car will be running 11s when we are through. And I should be in the 10s with more boost.

When do you plan on being back in Germany? I'm trying to get my '91 GT into the 10's for next year. Could make for some fun in Bitburg if you get here in the next couple of years!! Good luck to you.

Yeah, that would be nice to see.... You're talking big bucks now... Good luck. I know it's very possible, but 10s don't come cheap. :)

Are you talking to me or monty? I know it takes a lot of money for a 3rd gen to be fast but I am just about there now. All I need is more boost and bigger injectors. As for my wifes car I think all she needs is 425 hp and that will be enough for her. I dont want her out running me.

Did I read that right? You said you'll be back by this spring?! Talk about a quick turnaround. Hope you come back to K-town.

I know i got a big job ahead, but i'm shooting for the spring right now. It might have to get delayed until mid summer, but only time will tell. I'm looking at a R302 block stroked to 347, heads, cam, and maybe supercharcher. But i think i want to do it NA, because it is just more fun that way. BTW, if anyone knows of any good engine builders in the states, i'm looking for one to build me a short block.

If you think you are going to do 11s natural asperated then you better have some compression and some good flowing heads. Those who know my car knows there is a lot of money and work in it and I am going high 11s. I dont know what you are driving but it takes more than motor to pull those tomes. Hawk will vouch for that. You need suspension and some type of slicks. I am putting more work in my suspension before I up my power. You can have all the power in the world but if it dont get to the ground then its a waste. I have gone 114 mph in the quarter and only had a 13.0 pass.Got the powr but wasnt getting the bite. Look at hawk 130 mph + passes but only 11sec slips. No traction that easily a 10( low 10 car). There is girl here running a 94 GT with a Vortech super charger and she is doing 10s She is not trapping much more than 120 but she has traction out the ass. She yanks the front wheels every time she launches. So if you want the time got to do the traction thing.
