Here's the poop:

You were right and after talking to Tony face to face I decided on the 383. It will be high compression, around 11:1 or so with the 4 bolt main caps, of course. He said the difference in power is negligable between the two and more sreet friendly;)

Dave good move on the 383 instead of the 396. The 383 is a more proven engine and you'll probably have less problems getting it dialed in since so many people have them. Bruce I can't wait for you to see that green CAMARO emblem in your face next year. You might be so discouraged you'll probably do an LS1 to LT1 conversion. J/K
