Here's the poop:
You were right and after talking to Tony face to face I decided on the 383. It will be high compression, around 11:1 or so with the 4 bolt main caps, of course. He said the difference in power is negligable between the two and more sreet friendly;)

OHHH NOOOOO is Tony hooking Jaz up to? He said something about 3rd Gen looking so much sweeter blasting off the line with that 383. Not to mention letting you guy's look at my hawk rear end. I hope you don't try to take it back after that. LOL.

Dave good move on the 383 instead of the 396. The 383 is a more proven engine and you'll probably have less problems getting it dialed in since so many people have them. Bruce I can't wait for you to see that green CAMARO emblem in your face next year. You might be so discouraged you'll probably do an LS1 to LT1 conversion. J/K
