I know the alarm system drains my battery, but over the last three weeks, it really did it in - 'vert was dead, recharged it for a while, tried to start it again, went dead again - only that when it did, now the charger blew its fuse due to too many amps pulled by the battery ... guess I need to find a new one if I don't want to switch the battery between the 'hawk and the 'maro ....

I remember somebody disconnected the Battery to give it a chance to recover enough to start, then when re-connected the Alarmsystem started to talk, draining the Battery before there was a chance to restart the car...
Take that unneccessary stuff off.

Optima Reds are the best. My Jeep came with it from the factory.

... need to check with some places here, those "US-Style" batteries are hard to get ... most/all german/european cars come with the other style connectors ...

Am I blind? All I see there are batteries that would fit any german/import brand car, but not the "screw-in" type connections as we need for an F-Body ... !?

Found new gel battery turned in at our Battery shed again... but only for the Forces to be issued to, if no unit comes to get it, I will have to send to recycling with the several hundred thousend tons yearly....
Why can't all those mechanics order the right size in the beginning?
We get a lot of that stuff from downrange and actually we're not supposed to take Haz Mat any more... but impossible for us to send it back.
