Yep
I broke down and bought A Ford today . The price was right and I always wanted a Ford Sierra Cosworth RS 4X4. It needs a little work Like a engine cradle , right front propshaft.
Itseems to hve been uned to by a company called SUHE . The Fahrzeug says max ladedruck is 1.4 bar.
This probaly why the propshaft broke whhich in turn broke the engine cradle.
Here is a engine shot of it

Right, now the fun starts. Those engines respond very well to a set of bigger injectors, bigger turbo, bigger intercooler and a chip to regulate everything. You will be surprised how much potential is still available. And don't forget to remove the overrun cutout from the programming, that way you can spit 6foot flames every time you lift the throttle.

Stef
It looks like this company called SUHE did a SUHE 293 upgrade to it . All Tuev approved and all. But I am a little leary of that Turbo pumping out 1.4 Bar .
I am currently looking for an engine Cradle for the 4X4 variant. The one that is on there is cracked. Got any leads ? Any one?

I pumped my "ex" Nissan to 1.4 Bar. The thing went like a scalded cat until it threw a rod at max revs. Destroyed everything!
Cossies are made of better stuff though.

Roy, you will love the way this car drives compared to the camaro
(not that there is anything wrong with that one)
Cossies are nice stuff, the crank and rods are forged steel and pistons forged allso.
standard there is allso a piston cooling oil spay
What kind of headgasket does it have ?
multilayer ?
the normal ones tend to let go around 300HP
try to get hold of a T35 from a ascort cosworth, as the T3's even from a 4x4 run out of steam at a little over 300HP.
these buggers kill driveshafts... especially with the boost turned up

A good friend here in Wiesbaden has a Suhe tuned Sierra, 430hp worth. he was a master mechanic for Ford but now owns several gas stations in the area. I will stop by and see if I can find out what parts he has around. His Sierra is in great shape and is not afraid to drive it.

That means I'm going to see you this Sunday at Hockenheimring with your Camaro.
