I've found a camaro -93 LT1
45000km
mint condition
M6
8500€

Do you think this is a good deal?
I live in sweden so I think the prices are a little bit higher here.

Can you give me tips what to look for if i decide to buy it.
Common problems on the '93?

He says it's a 93.5 Does that mean anything special?

Slight differences from 93-94 such as the computer and the color of the writting on the gauges and controls. If the car was never wrecked, really has only 45K km and IS in mint condition with no leaks or anything, it should be a good deal. Like you said, prices are higher where you are at. If you do buy it, make sure you'll enjoy driving it, I'm sure you will!

Around here, I think that's about the norm. I'm so glad I bought mine back in the states. You Europeans are insane!

Yeah, I would be lucky to get that for mine!! Resale sucks on these things, unless of course, you get an SS. I can't believe how much better the resale is.. So many reasons I should have just ordered an SS, instead of picking up the first badass demo car I could find.

'93 LT1's suffered from Opti-Spark problems in that it wasn't vented. the result was internal corrosion and failure of the unit which is a real pain in the ass to get at and replace - plus it's not cheap.

The 1994-on cars had a vented unit to allow air to circulate and moisture to escape so that's worth checking.

A 1993 LT1 in the UK would go for about £6000 up to about £7000 for a mint condition car but then we Brits are used to paying more for our cars than anyone else.

Well, it is 28k sterling and a pound is worth 1.7 dollars at present but while I might earn more than 28k, many earn less than 15k.

15k is hardly enough to live on in England, but hey, $200 is not alot to live on in Hungary either, and I know a few people who don't make much more than that per month.. They really know how to make a forint stretch..
