From a technical view, is it worth trying to get a radiator repaired? Don't know if anybody around here is able or will, or if it is repairable, but just wondering ... compared to looking at a €300 quote for a new one, still hoping to get a hold of a used one ...

I just know for example of one shop in my area that still repairs radiators,
but they work mostly on precious rare old cars like Bugatti or Aston Martin, so i guess they have to repair because they can´t get new ones.
They´ve repaired the radiator of our old rusty Ford like 4 years ago,
but just because we know the boss otherwise it would have been way too expensive...

Looks like the radiator is OK after all (I hope), seems like the liquid in front might have come from a bleeder valve on the radiator, though I don't know yet how come the motor overheated that much that it would press it out in front instead of at the motor - anyway, I drove it back home today, without any problems ...
