Well, half (passenger side tip + pipe and Y junction) of my SLP Loudmouth exhaust is stolen i'll have to look for something else.

I have never encountered a LT1 here in Holland with an aftermarket exhaust so i'm in the dark as for the choice.
My decision will be based on sound, looks and the price as i believe that performance wise all the known catbacks will be pretty similar.

Now, what exhaust system sounds extremely well on a (modded) LT1 ??
(i know the GMMP sounds great but i'm afraid it's out of my budget range)

P.s. i will be running LT's and maybe the 3" universal cat.

One guy down here has MagnaFlow. It sounds pretty good.

I haven't heard one yet, but the Hooker cat-backs are supposed to sound really good and flow very nice.

I guess Borla is out of your price range also, huh?

Yes they are, i was stunned to see how they are priced at about $800 these days !! They used to be in the $500-600 range i recall but i guess nowadays they are made from Titanium ........

Leaning towards Hookers myself due to positive feedback from users but i'd rather hear it from people here on the board who actually have first hand experience as i want to do it right the first time andnot keep changing exhausts.

The price range is important as i never planned to buy a catback in this final stage as i already had my Loudmouth waiting and ready before those %$#!'s stole a part of it rendering the rest useless, so as you might have guessed cashflow is a problem since i spend my both arms and left nut on the internals, heads, and other parts thinking i was pretty much done.

Whatever you decide go stainless. LM's are good for the price but you'd need cats w/ it as it's too loud.....at least for me. Could custom fab and run true duals....

True duals would be cool but only in the USA where they won't charge ya an arm and a leg.

All the stainless exhausts that make sense are in the GMMP price range so at this moment a definate NO GO.

Ebay kinda sucks lately, Hot items simply don't change owners at a bargain price anymore, too many sniper bidders, too many people scouting Ebay and waiting for bargains ... Hell some people buy items that cost less in the stores if you look carefully.
Plus i'm trying to prevent used parts as much as possible, too many scams or items that are not as advertised.

Leaning towards the hooker setup right now, not Stainless but i could always upgrade to the very best in the future if funds allow it.
Besides with the mileage i make and no winter driving i'm sure the Aluminized tubing will last another decade.

P.s. I am not sure wether to run a Cat or not.
TUV is not an issue anymore as i will not pass anyway, period. So i will simply be driving without it 8)
The cat would my choice to use it in order to tone down the exhaust (will be having Long Tubes) and ofcourse saving the enviroment

SLP loudmouth is still only 349 dollars. Its still the lightest meanest and cheapest SS system on the market.

That's very true eventhough i'm concerned about loudness with Long Tubes and maybe even not a cat ....
But it got me thinking ... Maybe that LM2 is the way too go which has a tad more silencing.

Anybody ?

Anybody know what the difference is between LT1 (93-95) and LS1 exhaust fitment ?????

The Loudmouth II setup is looking good, ST, less resonance and in conjunction with a Cat it should be okay BUT for the LT1 they sell a $75 install kit ...........

I cannot see how the LS1 and LT1 setup would differ so much, i mean the cat is located in the very same location right ?
The rest runs to the back just as with any 4th gen i assume .......
