Isn't the LS1 flywheel the same? Not too many people have an LS2 over here. I have only seen one.

no it's not the same, you can use both (ls2 flywheel on ls1 and ls1 flywheel on ls2)

the ls2 has more a "bowl" flywheel where the plate is "inside" the flywheel.
