I need to take my car in for warranty repairs. I have a TNT Nitrous kit installed. I really do not want to remove it as it is a pain in the @ss to remove. Will I have to?

I am taking it in for power windows, headlight motors and rear window defrost. Having Nitrous on should not matter right?

I don't know about the opel dealers over there but the one over here gave me sh^t about having a K&N filter and a new TB on my car... they tried to refuse service on it!!! But I showed them I called GM in the states and told them how they refused to fix my recall items... lets just say in the end my car is fixed!!!

AFAIK, only parts directly related to a modification will lose their waranty ... e.g., I wouldn't bring it in for motor problems with it installed ... :)

I have read on web sites that modifications don't affect warranty.

Example, see http://www.camarosource.ca. But I'm still learning about these cars.

But I don't know if that extends to N2O? Sorry

N2O must give the engine hell???

I hope the dealers are ok.

I am keen to know what nitros does to the cars performance.

What does it do to the HP?
What does it do to the 0-60 times?
When do you use it?
Can you use it at high speed? What sort of kick does it give?
Do you hit a button on the dash?
How many seconds does the nitros kick in for?

Nitros is for losers that drive Trans Ams. J/k Hey george If I were you call a dealer back in the states. Do Not give them your name and ask your questions through them that way you know for sure. I don't see how nitros would affect your warranty on your windows but with GM they'll say somthing like it has do to an eltrical surge when you pushed the button on the tnt kit blah blah blah. I just give tham a call and ask them. Good Luck

If my car is behind yours there's a reason. I'm probably going to have to bracket race you. You'll need atleast a five car headstart to make it fair. lol But on a serios note I will whoop the shi$ out of the chicken.
