If $$$ didn't matter what shifter would you go with for the 6 speed??? Getting ready to buy a new D&D 6 speed and was thinking about replacing the factory shifter at the same time.

Can't really tell you Val , since I 've had only one Aftermarket shifter.
The ripper works great for my purposes.

If you check most of the FBody boards, the most often recommended one is the Pro 5.0 with the Lou's Short Stick. That's what I bought and I love it. Haven't missed a shift with it yet and it dropped my ET by about .2. I'd recommend ordering it through http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com. If you buy it from other places you have to order the shifter and the Lou's short stick separately so you end up with two shifter handles. Afterthoughts lets you order it as a combo so you only get the Lou's short stick handle and not the Pro 5.0 handle. They are also great to do business with.

Val you just going all out aren't you? No more weak links. :D Can't go wrong w/ the ripper, PRO 5.0 or Hurst Pro. I've had 2 of the 3 and I'm getting ready to switch to the 5.0 this time.

Sounds like the pro 5.0 and the Lou's s/s. Thanks for your thoughts guys!!

Trying to replace all the weak links before they leave me sitting on the side of the road
