Well, I finally got the cam in my hands along with a cam install kit that includes gaskets and a new crank bolt.

All I need now is the tools, oil, and anti-freeze.

So this is my official thread asking who is willing and able to help me out on this.

Install is likely to be in Bamberg at NXZ28 bay over a weekend.

What weekend works for everyone? I am shooting for MLK Friday and Saturday if necessary, but I know people have plans.

depending on what weekend you do it, I wouldn't mind showing up to help out, but i don't know what I'm doing so I'm pretty useless. I'd like to know how to do this myself.

...wait, that's Bamberg not Bitburg, might have to go with Roy on this one.

I have been back and forth between Bamberg and Hanau over the holidays. I have very limited internet access until this Tuesday or Wednesday. I haven't forgotten about you all.

No one else interested in helping out?

NXZ28, do you have the necessary tools? i.e pulley remover and spring compressor?

This looks to fit the bill. Unless you want to use the homemade version. :)

I now have a spring compressor and balancer remover, just waiting on the Heads.

If someone needs to use these let me know.
