How did you guys manage to get pics that were 6k or smaller? I want to post a pic of my car, but the smallest I can take is like 36k.

Guess you're talking about the Avatar on the board - that will have to be small (both dimension and byte size). Scale a pic down to the recommended size (not sure what it is), and it'll be small enough. Apart from that, use the gallery option for the members (click yourself on the member list, then "edit" at top right) to upload some pics to the server ...

I seen how to upload a pic in the edit profile, however I have no idea how to SCALE DOWN a pic. How do I do that?

You'll need a paint program like PaintShop or Photoshop...
