Man... what a PITA that was! It took 11 hours, including goof off time, so it wasn't TOO bad, but there were a few issues with the hardware... Pacesetter's quality control could be bumped up a notch IMO as things like collector length was off a bit, 02 bungs were misaligned on the collectors (nothing a dremel tool couldn't fix but still a PITA) EGR tube was still present (which shouldn't have been and had to have a block off plate fabbed) and other little things appearance-wise that could have been better.

I'm taking the car to our local exhaust shop here in town and they are gong to fix the fitment issues and the leaks coming from the collectors where the y-pipe mates to them... all for $40!

Overall, it wasn't TOO bad, as the racing I did afterward proved that the LT's gave me about 25 rwhp. :D

They are actually a really decent product at a great price. I paid about $150 less than everyone else because they used my car for some research stuff. The performance of them has more than impressed me, so once I take care of the couple minor issues, they'll be some kick butt headers all across the board. :)

Yep
LS1 headers can be a real pain in the ass. I think the hardest pair to install is theSLP tubes. The easiest pair to install would be the typethat Bruce has.

Mine were super easy, until I was backing off the lift and caught one of the bolts.... Man was I pissed...... Oh well, they sound awesome as hell, so I don't mind a slightly lower stance....
