I went to pick it up at the port today and the car would not start. They told me it ran just a couple of days before. Here is the problem. When I first tried to run it the car stumbled and died. Tried a few more times with no luck. I looked down car is on Empty. I go and put gas in the car. Still no luck. This point the battery is dead as well. Even with the car on a charger it will not start. What could be the solution here?
1. Air in the fuel lines from the tank being empty?
2. Fuel pump burned up from no fuel? (I can here the fuel pump when I go to turn the car on)
I am getting a new battery when the car gets towed to the house Monday.
Any suggestion will help. Thanks

Probably the fuel pump. I've already replaced mine once!

Thats what I think to. If your fuel pump is coming on when you turn the key try priming the pump but when I ran out of gas it killed the pump.

That is going to suck if that is what turns out to be. Changing it will be a pain.

There is no priming the pump option here , It eiter pumps fuel or it doesn't. Before you replace the pump ensure you have enough fuel in it first and it is not freezing out side. wanna rulee out frozen water in the fuel lines .

Before you change that pump do a few things first.
1) Find the relay close to the pump.
2) Unplug it and get a multimeter and check if it gets good power. (Should be around 12 volts from the car)
3) Ohm out the pump. Check for continuity on the other plug. If its bad, then your pump is bad.
I have heard of people "splicing" in an aftermarket pump. Get a inline pump and install it. The pump in the tank should have a valve to allow fuel to come out of the tank.
Just a thought. Its what we do on aircraft. Basically the same principle here.
Good luck!

Thing is I dont need an inline pump. I already have a Walbro 255 intake pump. Car has a Pro Charger on it so the pump was replaced when the charger was installed.
I picked up a new battery today and will see if I can get the car running Monday when they tow it to the house. Anyone now were I could find a fuel pressure gauge at?

Put new battery in but the car is still not starting. It turns over but does not fire up. I checked to see if gas was flowing at the fuel rail and it is. I just dont have a gauge to look at the pressure. I am at a loss right now. I am going to try and pick up a fuel pressure gauge somewere and go from there. Any suggestions?

after checking the fuel pressure I would take a spare spark plug if you have one. put it a spark plug wire make sure the threads is touching a ground and have somebody crank the engine to see if you have spark.
back home I had a tool that looked like a spark plug but had a clamp on it for grounding it. To test the ignition system

I checked the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. I have 60 psi at the rail. I checked for spark and it shocked me so I assume I got spark. What else could stop the car from starting? Is there a relay in the tank that goes off when it is run dry? I put a half tank of gas in the car.

I'm looking in my manual and it shows two fuses or circuit brkers in the fuse box. Their called inj1 and inj2 .
Might check for serviceability and voltage there . with out power to the injectors their will be no firing .
second thing is the control signal from the PCM , with out that your injectors will not fire either.

I appreciate the help people but I dont need it anymore. GOT THE CAR RUNNING. WOOHOO I took out all the plugs (pain in the ass) and cleaned them off. When I put them back in the car fired right up. Only thing I can think is when the car was run outa gas (thanks to the port) the fuel pump pulled all kinds of crap of the bottom of the tank. O well. I just need to order new plugs now.

It is good to hear the supercharger whine again.
