Ya, I was driving home from work today and went to turn into the neighborhood and had to use all my might to turn the wheel. I luckily made it home, but when I got out I popped the hood and saw all my power steering fluid leaking out... GREAT!! Either the seal broke or the pump died. Don't know yet, but it dripped all over my altenator too... I don't have the time at the moment to check it out myself so who would you all suggest the best shop to take it to around Ramstein would be, on or off base? Luckily my roommate is gone til next month and left her car here so I'm going to be pimping her civic until I can get it fixed

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Is it leaking only from the top? Mine came apart from where the hose is crimped. I would have never bothered removing it if it wasn't for that. The power steering pump is in a terrible location, and when it heats up the pressure is increased dramatically.

No, there was no fluid on the top-side. It appeared to be dripping from beneath from what I could see...

I bet you have the same problem I had. Check all the hoses, and make sure they're all secure. It could be dripping down the hose though, so check the entire system, and nail the problem before you start assuming the worst. :)
