If you are going to buy a clutch for the LT1 it's the street twin. I've owned it for 4 yrs now w/ no problems. Break in is a beyotch but after that if installed correctly it'll be smoothe as butter w/ a heavier pedal but nothing you won't adapt to quick. Believe me when I tell you, it will tell you immediately if it's installed wrong. Just has to be torqed correctly and then it's smoothe sailing. I love it so much I've got a spair coming in the mail I bought used for 400 bucks w/ less than 500 miles on it to include the billet master slave.
I'm sending my original back for a rebuild and don't want any down time. That's also the beauty of owning one. They're the only clutch on the market that can be rebuilt I believe. 325.00 and that includes resurfacing the flywheel to match. Can't beat. I've dumped it @ 6K and it holds w/out a wimper. How much gripping force does it have. Let's just put it this. I've got a rear main oil leak that shoots oil all over the flywheel and drips down the bellhousing like no other. The clutch is soaked beyond reason and I can take off in 5th it slips so bad.....but at the same time I can still dump it @ 6k and it still holds. Every now and then I'll do anywhere from 120 to 130mph on the bahn and drop it down to 4th just to hear the tires bark. That lets me know she's still bittin.
Bar non the best clutch hands down for the $$ and the last clutch you'll ever buy.
