I think I found out why I have a SES light all the time. I have been hearing a rattle in the exhaust since Bitburg (Remember JR?) So anyhow for some reason the cam has made it more noticeable. Today I pulled it onto the ramps and checked it out. I kept hearing a noise when I shook the exhaust coming from my D/S cat. So I pulled that cat section off and To my surprise my cat was totally full of shattered honeycomb material. I just shook it and alot of it fell out. Well I gutted it the rest of the way and the car is sounding even meaner. The question I have is what is the cheapest/best cat I can buy? Where? and where is the best place to buy simms? Man I have a loud car........

Best cat for our cars are the random tech cats, but they are not cheap. There was an article in GMHTP around last Jan maybe about cat flow numbers. Try to see if anyone has a copy.

The best place for sims is e-bay. They can be bought for $55.00 for a pair. Do a search on LS-1 or LS1 I can't remember...the guy almost always has 3 or 4 auctions going at the same time and the buy now price is 55 bux.

Walker cats or Carsounds.com Got mine for 69 bucks.
Sims? Cheapest is Thunder or IRS but I don't like IRS reliablilty........sorry Rob.
