I want to relocate my oil filter. At the same time I also want to add another filter to my car for a couple reasons, 1 better filtering, 2 another quart of oil. Does anyone know a company that makes this kit for the LT1. I'm trying to avoid any oil problems from ever destroying my engine again. moment of silence)

If your pulling your engine, just put on a 7qt oil pan. Also think about installing a ignition/fuel cutoff switch that will shut the engine off if oil pressure drops below 5-7psi (about 12 bucks).

I would think that would be more efficiant than a double filter, and alot easier to find room to install.

I thought of the cutoff but I've never found a place that makes one for the LT1. I'm going to go with the moroso 7qt oil pan with the double baffles ment for course racing for over here. I was mainly looking at the double filter to bring my car up to 9qts instead of 8qt. I know it's only a quart but I figured it may save somthing incase of. Thats a good idea on the cutoff but do you know where to get one. I called jegs about the one they have in there magazine but they said it wouldn't work on newer f-bodys?
