I think I am going to pull it out tomorrow and see what that clutch looks like. I know it has to be shattered too.

I will see if Gary can call him and check a few thing out with him. what year is your car so that I can let him know. so the guy will know what he would be working on.

No. I had a deal in the process with a guy to buy a 93 tranny for my car. He was going to see what shipping was. He wanted $600 for the tranny. I just got a e-mail from him saying "I am sorry to say but I got offered $700 for the tranny, if you can beat that price by $50 its yours." WTF?!

That sh!t pisses me off, you think you have a done deal with somone and they pull crap like this. A week ago this guy told me that he has other people wanting it but he is "Very patriotic" and he will let me have it. I dont know what to tell him. I told him how hard it was for me tring to find a tranny over here. I want that trany, I need my car up, but I want to write him a e-mail telling him what I think about his little thing he just pulled and tell him to shove his tranny up his a$$. I dont know if I can afford $1000 dollars for it right now. I could have afforded the original price of $600 +shipping. I might have to buy it cuz I dont know if I can get another one cheaper.

What do you guys think?
Jeff

That is pretty shady. Another offer shouldn't matter if a deal is already made. I've gotten higher offers for my short block but I'm not going to screw Ryan like that.

Check out a A4 for that beast and put a manual valve body in it with a torque converter. .5-1 sec quicker under 1 thousand bones from summit racing. Just trying to help.
