If anyone has done it, or read about it, how far should I go. I am using the SLP cold plug thingy for the IAT also.

You remember I have the FIPK, and it has that plastic base that I dont want to thread the wires thru to plug it into the Cone itself. Down to the base, or around where the air injection hose hooks up.

I have read the same things about how this does nothing most of the time power wise, but right now it is where I want to put the shark nozzle for the NX kit.
Thanks

I drilled a hole just smaller than the size of the outer diameter of the IAT Sensor in the rubber part of the air filter itself (if you can understand that...I sure can't)...

Anyhow, then I just spliced the wires and extended them and I must have gained 10 HP and cut .2 of my 1/4 times :roll eyes:

I did that and the TB bypass at the same time and didn't notice a difference honestly, even no difference when I data logged on LT1 edit. Times were identical.

I kinda figured it wouldnt do anything. The air runs thru there at (cant remember but it was fast) like 250mph. It doesnt have time to heatsoak. But it was taking up prime property.

Yup, I can understand taking up prime property (NOS :D)...send it south, it sure won't hurt anything.
