Hi,
I hope that I'm right in this area. My 93 Firebird 3,4 is not driving in the D or 3 gear. In R 1 and 2 the car is driving normally. What could the problam be?

Best way to tell about the fluid is compare with a sample of new fluid.
Look for discoloration , burned smell, and shiny particles. If you can siphon it out of the pan would be best.

first thing i would do is flush the old chit and replace the filters. then go from there! thats no more then probably 50$ and with a 180K its probably worth it.
