Deemed a success yesterday however....:) After pulling out 5,6,& 3 1 was soaking wet. The other 2 the pucks were gone completly! Then looking at 4 and 7 the electrodes were melted to the pucks! Funny thing is the car fired on 1st crank and ran strong at least IMO and throttle response was great. These are the same plugs that were fouled out numerous times and the ones that carried me through Bitburg.

After putting the NGK's in the car idle'd a tad better and throttle response was increased even more! Now I just got to do the wires by weeks end if possible and put my cats. Finally fixed the banging exhaust too so I won't have timing pulled anymore or temporarily.....eh-eh....;)

Did my calipers too. Thanks Bruce that stuff is off the hook! I'm looking for more stuff to coat now. LOL Jackitus. :) Hopefully my rims will be back before Fri so I can go to the Nurnburgring Sunday.

Hey Bruce? If I don't have any luck finding that powder coating tomorrow you think maybe you could send me another set of black and a set of grey if they have it? I'll send you the money asap.

I'll let you know tomorrow evening if I had any luck.
Thanks alot.

Oh yeah my plugs came in too for my headers they look sweet. So now I'm capped off completely minus leaks now! Yeah! :)

NGK also makes very reasonably priced spark plug wires. While I can't say for sure if they make them for your application they are half the price with all the quality! Honda uses NGK on all of it's new cars so it must be good stuff, right!

Sin. They make them for our cars as well. I've been using NGK's for almost 5 yrs. AC delco's were just available so I put them in temporarily. They are just as good though.

No nonononononono!!!

AC Delco is by no means inferior.
Always Stick with OEM equipiment.
My car had the factory ACDELCO platinum plugs with 114,000 miles on them! they looked damn good when I pulled em soo good im keeping them for a spare set since new plugs are $5 us dollars a piece! I also went with the new optispark distrubutor $600 us dollars and new 7mm acdelco wires. after the tuneup the car went from slugish 15.8s to decent 14.4s!!!!!!!!!
and then the mod process began. all mods were cheap (less than $15 us) or free
After reading up and trying some stuff most guys do and trying my own stuff like an exhaust cutout instead of an expensive borla exhaust just for example........

I ran a 13.78 just last friday!
cya at the finish line

If cost savings and cheap performance were the goals, I think you have some other options.

I can buy 3 opti's for that price! Only use plat's if you don't like working on your car. PERIOD. I use a colder plug because that's what she needs. Matter of fact I'm going to TR6's next and see what happens.

Jack I'm always bored................LOL
