Gotta question about the 'silencer' that hangs from the bellow: is it important? Why or why not? I'm in the process of creating my own 'bellow' and was wondering the purpose of the 'silencer'.

Take it out, Its purpose is to keep the car quite.


But basically it's to rob performance away from your engine. :cry:

Somebody correct me if I am wrong?

yes, indeed. The "donkey schlong"(as known over on cz28.com) is only to quite the sucking noise the intake sometimes makes. Let me know how the elbow making process comes along
