make sure you choose your lifters carefully. I went with crane roller lifters, and I just got off the phone with AFR. Of course the crane lifters arent compatible with the rev kit. (wonder what the differance is? All I got was a "nope, wont work" <--(insert tobacco spit sound )

Well fine! I didnt want it anyway.

Well, the crane lifters arrived today. I dont understand it, they look like, well, lifters. What could possibly be differant from these to the originals? There is two Hydra Rev kits, one for OE lifters, and one for aftermarket (doesnt specify brands, and AFR isnt real good about returning email).

The Crane lifters say they are OE replacement hyd roller lifters. What gives?

It seems that the crane and Lunati lifter have the link bar on the lifter body to high so the HR retaining bar will not clear.

If you want to use the hydra rev you need to get comp cams, speed pro, sealed lifters. Either that or go with the stockers(<--I dont think so Jim)

I dont know if it will be worth the hassle of returning the cranes just to run a kit that allows me to spin to 7K, even though the crank wont take much more than a few trips to 6.5K.
