You won´t believe this!
Today I was offered an originel 1967 Camaro for 250$.
The cat looks like a piece of s..t, but the frame seem stable and i found no great structural damage. The engine is a goner and the interior looks like a pigsty, but it is a genuine 1967. Anybody ever tried rebuilding sumthin like this? It would be tempting, but is it possible to get parts for a baby as old as this?
ANY COMMENT WANTED!

BUY IT NOW!!!!! You can get parts. It's not easy to rebuild it, but for that price, you absolutely cannot go wrong!!! :0

there are many companies out there who make restoration parts. And many salvadge yards who may have those few pieces you'll need. Take the car for the 250 you can't go wrong,

I've restored a 1967 SS, a 1969 SS and a 1969 Z-28 as well as a few 2d gen F-Body cars.
Whether you want to pick the car up is completely up to you, but be very careful as there are MANY things that can be wrong with it that will cost BIG bucks. A 67 Camaro in nearly perfect condition is really not worth a whole lot of money either. The value would increase if it were a RS, SS or Z-28 car, but plain Jane Camaros don't have much resale value. If you look on classiccartrader.com you will see that mint condition plain janes have a value of between $8 and 10K in mint condition. If the car is a basket case, you'll spend well over that in parts.
There is also a good chance that the car was a 6 cyl car with softer front springs, etc. Be wary.
Another thing is that the 1st Gen Camaros had subframes that were attached to the floorboards, and the floorboards were made of recycled metal. The floorboards had a tendancy to rust out, allowing the Sub Frames to shift. Replacing the floorpans and lining the SFs up can be quite a challenge.
It may not be a bad purchase, just do your homework before jumping headfirst into a money pit!!!
