Today I am at the craft shop changing the oil and putting my swaybar back on. I am under the car doing the filter and some guy walks up and says, is that thing still stock? I reply with no not really. He says, what do you have done to it? I said most of the stuff. He sees the headers and starts to tell me about his 1994 Thunderbird and how he is getting a set of headers. I lower the car down to add oil and he looks under the hood. Well I now have a set of Vette Fuel Rail Covers (Thanks Jesse) and the guy looks and says "Jesus Christ, you put a vette engine up in there!" I snickered and said, yep it has a vette engine in it. He starts off with the that sh!t is tight yo, and just then the wife called and I was saved.... I thought I would share that with you all to brighten up your evening.......

That's pretty funny. That's better than the guy that told me he used to race in the states and has never seen an LS1 F-body run faster than 14 sec 1/4's.
So how did they fit anyway? The FRC's.

They fit great.. I will be ordering a Driver side though.. I did not have to cut any on that side, so there is a big noticeable gap. I will just put a new one on that side.. Thanks again:)

No problem. It gave you something to work with. I was told when I ordered my new ones that depending on options and years, the covers are different for the f-bodies. I guess you must have a slight different layout on your drivers side.

Wow, you got a vette engine in there? But it can't be Ram Air then, with the screens missing. LOL. So was this the same guy that your wife had to school at the gate? Looks like I need to do all my car work over there, just for the laughs. O BTW, I know this guy who dropped a vette engine into his truck. I saw it at a car show once, it's green, and got Grimlins on it. Hehehe.
