I was driving towards Ramstein, on A6, when I see him behind me. It is a black C5. He has Kusel plates, so I decide to go to A62 and see if he'll play. I was sure he would because I passed him on B270, right before the off ramp, and he caught up about half way down A6. We just sort of stayed together up to the kreuz. Well, at the exit, he is 2 cars back, so as I merge on to A62, I wait for an Audi A6 to get out of the way, and for him to catch up. As soon as he gets behind me, I floor it. He doesn't fade, but he does drop back slightly, and yes, he was definitely trying. Well, I am sure I would've gained on him, had I kept the PHR and LCAs on, but that made a huge difference going into the curves at 140 MPH... LOL, he was a pretty good lunch!!

Because we live out in the boonies. When i was stationed in Manheim I use to have races all of the time because you had to get on the autobahn to go anywhere. Here at Spangquinten it is all single lane roads, no traffic lights, and no autobahn. Great for the twisties, but very bad for drag racing.

Yeah, but I can never get anyone to race me out on A60 either!! I have tried! I'll race them on the twisties. Did that one afternoon coming from Manderscheid. Doesn't bother me.

The trick is to really annoy them. Slow right down in the outside lane, brake for no reason, crash into them and drive off..well, perhaps not....it still doesn't work though. Having followed my mate's LT1 TA into town the other day, I'm not surprised really, you sometimes forget just how intimidating these cars are from the outside.

Hey, I use to own a Honda and we talked about racing several times. It just never happened. I honestly think you would have beat me, but I think I would have scared you first. It was a very low 14 second car maybe a little better. The launch would have killed me though. I can't wait till Jimmy pulls his Turbo Civic out for the summer. To tell you the truth I am a little worried. I know what those cars are capable of. An since I am running pretty much stock I hope he doesn't embarrass me because I will never hear the end of it. Just trying to keep it real, Peace

There is also a guy down here with a civic, and he just put in a turbo!! He's claiming low 13s with it, but I don't know......

Jimmy's car is no joke... I've seen some of the things he put in his car..... that turbo is huge! He estimates a low 13 second which would be just fast enough to beat me! But I won't wait one minute to race him! I can't wait till it's done... either I'll beat him and laugh at him for how much $$ he sunk into it and he still can't beat a (slightly modified) camaro...... or he'll beat me and I will never ever hear the end of it from any of those GP monkeys (no offense Krazy!)
