I think once the weather is nice again I think we should do some club cruising. I think we should go somewhere else like take a cruise up to france 40min from voglway. Just a thought that would probably be some fun. There's nothing like clogging up a highway both lanes with f-bodies.

I never doubted the fact that yourself and George started the site or the club. No where in my reply did I say anything other than who was at the first meet and your response. Why are people on this board so damn touchy? You wonder why you guys are having problems. You can't make a simple post without someone runnging at the mouth. Deflate your heads a little! Your smart, I'm dumb. WTF over?

Instead of saying that, why don't you just tell me why you said what you did? I mean really, judging from that response it sounded like I was supposed to jump all over your **** for starting the club. I was there too, I am not claiming anything...who cares who started it as long as it works?

Great idea. I've been trying to do that since day one. The group always splits up when we take off and never really materializes. Maybe better luck this yr.

I'll get back on this subject later in the week.

I'm up for it just about anytime. I think we should plan a road trip when it starts getting nice out again. There's nothing like owning a car in a foriegn country where people look at you as though you have a rare collectable.

Got to do that ... we definitely need a pic like this for the site ... :)

Lets figure out what people in the club want to do for next year and make a schedule? I think we could get some ideas from the members to include shows, meets, cruising, racing remember we are in europe and we do not have to do what everybody else does. Quit your crying about who did what is in the past and lets be honest about what we want to do in the future. S#it I could say I have the best,or fastest car and create controversy but what does that accomplish? NOTHING. FWIW I would like to go to every meet but it is unrealistic for me right now due to the 3 hours @100MPH to get there to stand in the rain. OSL should remain a option for us next year along with some other stuff. I went to 6 shows/events this year and had a blast. I think there is very few people that would be willing to drive so far and do nothing. Do not get me wrong nothing is OK if was not so far. So I really do not care who started the club does that make them better or what? However it was a good idea keep this s#!+ up and it will not last long and no one will get credit.

Yeah. You could do that. But hey, you would never do that ... you're too mature for that ;)

I was at - hm - most of the meets in a 400km radius (more or less), and it was great - but after seeing some, I guess I will be a bit more selective next year ... I think Nürnberg will be a must, as is Thunderdome in Biebesheim (?). At least this time, with the '79, they will let me stay inside with the car ... but we may want to call the guys there ahead of time and reserve us some 10 spaces or so ...
Have to see what dates they are next year. Apart from that, OSL will most likely be having at least one race every 3-4 weeks, with most likely one to three up in Holland. Will probably going to most of them (as long as there is at least one Camaro of mine able to run :)). Apart from that, we should maybe think about trying to organize a two or three-day cruise - there are quite a few scenic places and roads in Germany ... maybe Tony has his Corvette up and running by then, or they could bring the bus ... :) (which would be a good way to transport things like coolers with food, grill, etc. :)) I guess you guys could check your american calendars and look for a nice three- or four-day weekend ...

Well a slew of car shows yr round exist in GE.
I'd like to go to the Frankfurt auto show if it's open to the public just for kicks.

Sergio invited us to come up there this yr. Holland. Time and date TBD.

Cruises? Rendevou and just roll. Once @ desired location gets some eats and BS. Make plans for the next meet or what not. W/ all these autobahns :) how could you not wanna roll? Lets not even talk about some of there killer back roads!

Modfests. That's the best one for moral support & potential members. Plus you learn something along the way which we're all here for anyways and to build friendships.

And of course the races. Auto X, 1/4, Nurnbergring a must Hockenheim too along w/ any other that come to mind.
Roy's been askin us since the dawn of time!

We all need to come up w/ ideas not just a few. In the end we all wanna have fun the more the better!

Guess we could do something like that, too - maybe we could get some space at Tony's garage ...

FWIW Dracten is in the NL and that is the best track I have raced over here it is at sea level and very sticky. It was 250DM though but I had the only late model F-body I had crowds around the Hawk I bet a 1000 pitchers were taken. Which I thought was kewl till I woke up and seen the people watching me sleep in the car!!! Back to the point NL is a Kewl place to cruise. Maybe we could make a weekend of it. Amsterdam is about 1 hour from Dracten
