I thought you put your car up for the winter? Anyway, I would have to honestly say that racing in the rain isn't the safest thing to do. I'm just looking for some friendly fun. I'm not trying to notch my space out in the club. I figure all of that will come with time. Like I said I think there may be something wrong with my car because it just doesn't seem as quick as I thought it should. Either that or I just got use to it really fast. So I want to run someone that has a proven car and see how my car does. Are you and Jr going to pull your cars out this weekend? Maybe Saturday afternoon? I am watching the little one in the morning, so I will have to see what time the wife gets back. I'm free Friday from 1400-1700. But this site doesn't work at my work, so I guess get ahold of Jr and let him know he can contact me. Peace

Win, lose whats the diff? It's all fun as long as you lose to a better car, not because of some stupid error you make. His car and my car have the same hp from the factory and he has spent some money and time to improve that so I don't really expect to win I just love racing. I will race any car for fun.

FWIW there is LT1 305 Hapees and there is LS1 305+ Hapees. Now I am not saying the LS1 is better I am just thinking it will be quicker and you will find out if you race him. I have not had the oppurtunity to race him yet so I am jealous.

I already think his car is going to win. I have heard it is very quick. I am just saying stock for stock (which his car isn't) they have the same HP and mine is a little lighter, supposably. I have also read that the LS1 was underrated from the factory for HP and that as the LS1 engine breaks in it increases in HP. I am always try to find out as much as I can about the other cars I may face on the street and as I said I plan on loosing , but it will still be fun running him anyway. Just gives me something to shoot for in the future. A mod here and a little money there and maybe it will be a different out come in the future. That is what modifying cars is all about. Having fun and hanging out with people who like the same things. Peace

Actually there are 310+ LS1 Hapees. The 2001 has 5 extra!!
My car is stock!!! Internally that is.
The only thing I really have is the lid, K&N, MAF ends, Ported TB and catback. Oh and the big kicker. The LS1!!
But I am ready to go, win, lose or draw. Makes no never mind to me. Lets just have a race. But I want it on video this time Scott!! I get first race and you are videoing it.

Jesse stomped my *ss. I even got the a better launch the first run and then I couldn't find traction at the end of first and he passed me up and I couldn't catch him after that. He definetly has the power in the first few gears. I didn't notice him pulling on me much after that, but he may have let off for all I know. It was pretty wet today and we all want rematches when it is dry. He is suppose to be posting the video's soon. I found out one thing for sure today. I need to get a new clutch BAD!!! It was slipping a lot even with the winter tires on it. I can't believe with only 15,000 miles the clutch is bad already? I guess Chevy tried to save some money while building the car. I will be ordering the clutch in the next couple of days, I hate loosing for stupid reasons (not that, that is why I lost, just I want my car to be capable of it's full potencial). Jesse said CarTech was a good clutch. were can I order it from? Peace
