OK, this time please keep this thread clean ...
In order to get this organized, please post if you're coming, how many people are coming, and what side dishes and/or deserts you will be bringing. Ryan, let us know what stuff needs to be brought ... I take it you will be preparing the main dish (did I read turkey on that other thread? Hope they still have some nice butterballs left ...)

There is no snowed in, just take the beater. The bahn should be clean due to the traffic. That is a sorry excuse.

You need to reconsider George. His house is about 15 minutes down the road from you.

Ok snowed in means a 1/2 meter of snow. Worst wheather in Germany is Vilseck/Graf. Gerge if I am willing to drive a half a country you should be able to go 15 minutes?

I will be there... I will bring some smashed potatoes, unless you are making them with the rest of the dinner. I will also bring some snackie items, and lots of drinks.

Come on G, it just wouldn't be right without you all there. If you need a ride Krystenna I will stop by and pick you up, it's on the way. You can help me with the potatoes.

Apart from Ryan needing to post what else we need to bring, this *IS* the list ... :) I guess a bowl of side dish and a bowl/platter/whatever of desert per person should be a good base to start ... drinks are bring-your-own, too, or?
What about other "fun stuff"? DVDs or stuff? I got a couple nice ones, including pretty new stuff on VCD (should be playable on any DVD player - tell me what you want ... usually can get just about anything current in a couple days or so ...)

Sorry it took so long for me to post. I usually don't check this forum which is stupid because this is where it's at. I'm waiting for my wife to come home tonight so we can sit down and decide on what needs to be brought. I would make the list myself but I can barley cook Mac and Cheese so you don't want the list in my hands. If I can't find a big enough turkey due to the thanksgiving turkey rush how does a nice big ham sound to you guys and girls. As far as entertainment my wifes idea is to do a gender neutral gift exchange with a limit of $20.00 if this is to much of a hastle we don't have to do it. I would say bring DVD's but, I've been to lazy to purchase one since my wife and I don't get a chance to watch to many movies that don't contain animated charecters. If you want to bring one by all means do I know how I am i'll probably do more talking than anything else. Does anyone have any christmas Cd's to make this a little more festive if not don't worry about I'll go and buy some. Also if you want to drink I know I will this is a BYOB occasion so if you want it bring it I have two refrigurators so we can stock plenty. Now do you guys want to eat on paper plates or the real deal either way it doesn't matter I have both a trash can and a dishwasher(wife)j/k. The only thing I don't have enough of is plates and silver wear so someone would need to bring some. One more thing I do have one rule if I can't get a battery before the party no one is allowed to laugh at the 3500pnd grass weight. I'll post the list soon. It'll be real nice to finally put some faces with some of the names on the board.

Ryan lets keep it simple we appreciate the hospitality. I could bring a couple cases of the new MRE's if you want I have a case at the house and eat them for lunch but the kewl thing is it is a self contained meal 24 diffrent ones. these new ones are the bomb just a crazy thought. But I could eat with my hands in a pinch and I am very easy to please as a guest.

See that's exactly what I said but you know woman ecspecially ones who are wives. I'm probably going to supply the majority of the food so it will be easier. I'll tell you in the land of 13B I've become an MRE cheff 3 times a day for 45 days straight will really show you some MRE combinations.

I've got a 220V one that is able to do both Never-the-same-color and Pay-additional-luxury ... hooks up via scart or regular A/V (and has two digital outputs in case you have a surround decoder :) ), I could bring it if we want to run some DVD/VCDs...
