Does anyone know of any songs that mention F-bodies in them? I am trying to make a cd with a bunch of songs on it with an f-body theme. I now have 3 songs:
1. Rippin' - Sir Mix-A-Lot
2. Wish List - Pearl Jam
3. Teenage Dirtbag - Wheatus
Any help will be greatly appreciated, I need more songs to fill one of these cds. I will be happy to make copies if anyone wants one.

Try to get something from the Smokey & the Bandit Soundtrack, Im sure they mention his TA in one of the songs. Also, there's a song about Cadillacs that I've heard that says something about Burt Reynold's black Trans Am. I goes something like "Cadillac, Cadillac, long and dark, shiny and black..." Hope it helps. Good luck filling a whole CD!

Got the (german) version on tape ... don't remember them saying anything in the theme song IIRC ... nice songs none the less ... anybody got them as mp3?

Just playing it now ... instrument panel shot is interesting ... car had 1108 mi down (which is after a supposed run of 900mi from GA to TX), and Sally seemed surprised with Burt driving 70mph ... Btw, Amazon has it on DVD ... D@mn, love the looks of that T/A ...
Btw, just found this on the IMDB ...
"East Bound And Down"
By Dick Feller and Jerry Reed
Sung by Jerry Reed
"Bandit"
By Dick Feller
Sung by Jerry Reed
"The Legend"
By Jerry Reed
Sung by Jerry Reed

I love you guys! Some of you are showing your age with these songs, you know. I will search for these songs tomorrow while the wife is at work, and I can get some alone time with the computer. Thanks for all the info, I should be able to fill a cd or two. You guys rock!

I picked up "The Bandit" (bad quality) and "East bound" (different versions) on Morpheus, couldn't find "The Legend" yet ... let me know if you want them ...

Nelly - E.I. singing " Call me Jeff Gordon, driving in the SS with the navigation ..."

When I'm in my camaro driving there are usually only a few bands I'll listen to. These bands make you want to step on the gas. The other songs above are good but there just not what you want to here J/K
If it were me I would go with the following.
GOD SMACK-any song
3 DOORS DOWN-any song
METALLICA-definatly any song
AC/DC- thunder struck or any song.
I would stick to the metal side of the house for drive fast music it suits the purpose.

Yeah I tend to agree with the metal theory, but I have enough of that. I like the Matrix sound track also, that is a good driving cd. If you have ever seen my collection of cd's that I keep in the car, you will realize I have a wide range of musical interests. I got stuff like Wagner, David Allen Coe, and Little Jon and the East Side Boys. I like music! I can't stand Techno though.

Bruce although the old smashing pumpkins is good the new stuff is kinda sucks Azz (Adore sucks). I know people will make fun but I think 80's rock is some of the best. Skid Row, Def leapord, Warrant, Cinderella, Guns & Roses etc etc...... There's nothing like the old stuff to rip a few burnouts to. Just my opinion. Here is another good driving Cd you all failed to mention White Zombie/Rob Zombie.

Check out the Joe Dirt soundtrack, lots of good music. Classic rock... Skynyrd, BTO, George Thorogood.

Ryan knows his old school 80's music. What about Kickstart my Heart by Motley Crue? Not really 80's but early 90's. Used to be my faforite. Has drag racing in the vidio.

A man after my own heart.
I would have to agree on the God Smack and Metallica.
But then I would suggest Drowning Pool-Body Drop. Or something like that. That song just plain kicks major *ss. I listen to it all of the time while I am driving and I just have to drive fast because of it. Got to make a nother body hit the floor!!!! Love smoking other cars.
