Opel dealer here in Hersfeld has a '00 (first registered 3/00) Z28 w/T-Tops, black. Euro-Version. Looks nice ... (don't they all? :)) Price tag is ~21000 Euro (they run around 30-35 new in Germany I recon). Guess you could get the price down a good 2-3k, as I asume it's pretty hard to sell a 5.7L car here in Germany ... :)
If anyone is interested in further details, let me know ...

They have some 2001s in stock left, sadly most of em A4 ;-(

Is that an automatic or a manual?

Nothing is wrong with the euro version, its just that many of us will take their car back home and overthere we don´t need the extra restrictive exauhast that the auto gestapo calls for....plus there are differences with the speedometer...MPH/KMH

Apart from the exhaust, is there other differences that restrict the power?

I'll check next time I'm down there (hopefully to pick up the new battery)

Jagsy, that's really the only thing that restricts the power! The other stuff is just cosmetic, safety!! :)

And is the restrictive exhaust the horrible big box at the back?
I've got rifd of that!
Or is it the headers, CATs etc.

There is more, one of the things is that the headlights are completely different and should have a different beam pattern, BUT they are adjustable !
The downside is the ugly folding mirrors and the crappy rear fog lights.

I hated the folding mirrors until I tried to get the car in my garage and now, thank god for the folding mirrors! And my garage is one of the bigger ones.
