As you all know I put the new tranny in yesterday. It shifts really good and smooth, doesnt seem to be alot of miles on this baby. I had to sand off my flywheel due to it having surface rust on it from sitting out in the elements for a few months. Everything went in smooth and quickly. I know consider myself a subject matter expert on instalation if the T-56!

Now that the tranny is in, I now have a few more bugs to work out. The clutch that Silas gave me is about to give up the ghost, it chatters like mad somtimes and groans. But it still works and will have to due till I get it inspected and get back from the warfighter. So, the tranny will be coming back down next month for a clutch (maybe SLP?). I also noticed that my torque arm is ripped in the rear where it bolts on to the diff. I guess the Nitto's had somthing to do with that. So I will need one of those also, probably a Spohn unit.

I just now have to convince the wife that I need to put another $700 into it, which is going to be hell :(

I also threw the SS rims/tires on that I had purchaesed from Rob, and man does the car look killer!! I am currently looking for mirrored walls to drive in front of!

Once again I cant thank Sergio and Roy enough, they are true pals! And thanks again for the clutch Silas, its still kicking!

P.S,
Rob what psi do you run in the SZ50's? I am running 35 for lack of better knowledge. They dont like the 4.10's at all either:D

Glad your off the list! :) Hopefully that is a sign for things to come for the rest of us!. PSI should be 28-32 if your lookin for traction. Don't go any lower until you feel comfortable. Hope you can post pics of the new look.

Glad that the clutch is holding for now. Don't know anyone selling one but if I find one I'll let you know of course.

I will look into that one Hawk.

Well I just got it through the inspector, had a exhaust leak, so I had the wife take it up and play the dumb female role and the guy fell for it!

I guess I will now look into a exhaust system. I love the flowmaster sound but I want it to be stealth, I am looking into the Dynomax Ultra-flow system. I cant afford a $500 system either.

Well now that all is fine with the car, it seems fitting that I have to go to Graf tomorrow, so I cant enjoy it for another month :(

Glad to hear your back off the Deadline Report. I know I can't wait till I get off that status. I think we should have club hotel Identifiers for deadline status (28C2ODS):) I finally just started working on my car again today. I got everything off including the drivers side cylinder head. The drivers side seems to be in excellent shape I hope the passenger side looks the same. I'm putting them in the mail tommorow so my farther can take them to a machine shop to make sure there True. I guess what I'm trying to say is I may be back up and running sooner than I thought. Once again glad to hear your up and maybe I'll see you down at Graf I leave on the 23 Mar.
