So here´s the list:
4 16" rims with 245/16s on them front thread ok, rear not so
It´s the original chrome rims that come with the Z28 and there is not one scratch on them. Have to clean the brake dust though but no big deal.
1 original Z28 stock airbox including filter and all stuff.
Ran only some 8k miles, like new
1 original Z28 MAF, same as airbox.
make an offer!
Cheers,
R@m

why do you want 2 differant sizes? You wont be able to rotate them, to squeeze additional life out of that expensive rubber.

275 or 285 rubber won´t fit in the front and i don´t want to have 235ers all round.
Best for front an rear would be 255s and I don´t like the look of these rear.
maybe those Corvette rims 275 all round would squeeze in there?

Gotta check. 275s all round would be cool.
Regarding the MAF and Airbox: As i said - all stock. Not one notch in there and as clean as an elven arse...
I did not touch the things one time, so i goes not descereend and ported-

Jack, i bled 150 €uro for that SLP - so the genuine thing in almost new condition should be worth more than 20 bucks.
BTW, Opel asks 195 € for that damn thing.
So step up a little

Quote: Dino, most Fbodies use 17X9/9.5, which require a 275!! Unless it's a problem with TUV, do it man. 235s suck!!
Hm ... got 235 in front an 255 in the back, and TÜV doesn't like it ... might be the local TÜV places (all three!) are just consist of US-car-haters, but all of 'em wanted the fenders extended ... my 98 originally came with 215's !!!

Whre´d you buy that car? Some Opel´s have an accessory range and try talking one into selling you the original Z28 rims with tires (245). They should have an ABE or TÜV for this. This solves your 235 prob. Regarding the 255s you need rims with smaller ET? If i want 275s on mine, i don´t need to widen the fenders but the rims need to have the right ET. I don´t talk much tech, but it makes sense.

you have the same body shell as a SS, and it comes with 17X9 275/40/17 the outside diameter is right at the same as the 16X8 245/50/16 that come on the Z(important for speedo calibration). Just plus sizing
Tire selection might be important to you because of the differance in measuring width between brands.
I have 17X9.5 's all the way around, and the tire might extend from the wheel well a 1/8"

... sadly the SS is not sold in Germany and our german GM/Opel guys did not deem it necessary to ask for an permit / ABE that you can mount 275s on the car. So you have to rely on the rim manufacturer to provide this or at least a stabilty certificate / Festigkeitsgutachten. If you have the latter, you can TRY to convince the local TUEV Gestapos to accept this (a so called Einzelabnahme) and they CAN do it, but mostly for the people that run garages or tuning centers eg. Geiger Cars in Munich. But you have to bleed a lot of dough for that. A "Einzelabnahme" can cost anything between 100 €uro to 1000 €uro.
Quite a risk.
