nothing special in the post, just trying out my new LAN setup. Cool having internet everywhere in the house. Sorry guys, but your missing out being in Europe.

Thing change faster than you can keep up with, and I'm about two years behind anyway :)

What are you talking about? I have a high speed 56k modem setup. It tops out around 1.5 - maybe 3 kb <----(oops) per second. My only other option right now is isdn, but if i'm spending money it has to be better than that.

soon as I get the details worked out, I'm switching to satelite. Same price as cable, but up to 6m per sec down and 512kb up.

Only problem is that most sites wont let you chew thru that much bandwidth. I always kid the people at work that stay with dial up. It costs the same or within $5 a month of DSL/Cable? WTF up with that!

C'ya guys

People are crazy, but then again, not everyone likes to download tons of stuff!! One of these days, DSL will become available.... :( I am pissed that Ramstein already has cable...
