John, I have a quick question for you... do you have any hint's or tricks for my pass side header install..... I already started to venture into it and have had MUCHO problems on the driver side (took almost 9 hours to do it at a normal to slow pace) this dam car has been fighting me the whole way.... but if you have any suggestions on how to make this as quick and apinless as possible I would appreciate it!

Infact if anyone has anysuggestions I would love to hear them!! Thanks alot!

Seeing as I've installed every header but BBK's the passenger should be the easiest. I apologize for not being able to help you. Got stuck w/ the pager again this weekend.

Now. Driver side the steering knuckle may need to be removed pending on how complicated the bbk design is and then go install from the top. Did you remove the valve covers? Sometimes it's easier if removed (99%). Passenger side, well....alt for one along w/ the bracket and should go in from the bottom. Alot of the installs require skinny arms and hands and alot of creative wiggling.

Gaskets be sure to have RTV on the head and press the gasket hard up against it. The rtv on the other side as well to complete the seal. That way the gasket doesn't slide when putting the header. That's always workded for me.

Well like you said with alot of creative wiggling I seemed to get it on (driver side) w/out removing anything except the cat because I pulled it out the bottom.... but for the pass side I have read to take off the starter ..... any truth to that or is it just a little healpful.

I'm on leave next week and that's when I'll be finishing it up!

Yeah I forgot about that one. That's just 2 bolts holding that in. You can just remove it and let hang off to the side w/ a hanger or something.
