Anywho. Some nice Porches one to mention a yellow GT3 w/ black rims. Perty.....also the Vette club was out there as well along w/ 4 Z06's. All in all it was a nice day to be out there.

So when are we gonna head down there? I'll be there next Sunday for sure and from now on I'll always keep the digi and camcorder charged and in the call at all times.

I was out there too... late this afternoon. I went out there with another Stanger just on a whim. I didn't expect to see anything going on. I was expecting to see mounds of dirt and asphalt because of the tearing up of the airstrip. Who was the %$#@stick who said he saw them tearing it up ????? Were you halucinating?? smokin crack???
Did you see dude with the blue porche allwheel drive turbo? He lives on Ramstein with that 400+ hp beast. Look out for him on the bahn he may embarrass some of us.
Why is it so frickin' hard to get good reliable information around this stoopid base???? Everybody's got their own version of the information. How the hell we manage to fight wars I'll never understand.

Anyway, I was searching this site for the dude with the Porche brakes all the way around. Roy I guess? I bet THAT was an expensive upgrade!!
BTW Roy, I watched you run a couple of times this afternoon. You seemed to be braking more than you were in the gas! Romp!! Brake!! Romp!! Brake!! brake some more....nose dive...romp!!! It was fun. That little red 911 ate everyones lunch tho huh? Wish I had known about the damn race.... woulda been the only Cobra gettin' jiggy with it up there.... Dammit.

CK I don't know when the next one is. I honestly think they go there every weekend. Don't see no control of the track either. I bet you could just go out there and romp it and no one would do anything.

I didn't stay long enough to watch Roy run but his upgrade for the brakes was like 4500 or so. But they stop like you wouldn't believe.

The dude w/ the Porshce that's military I don't think it's puttin those numbers out. I don't even believe it's turb'd.
He just changed the skin to make it look like that. He told me that when I talk to him a few months back. BUT I can't say for the platform he's running turbo or not. Still like to eat his lunch though........

Well glad some of you made it out there for that extremely cold ass day. It was fun and interesting . Silas and CK Sorry I didn't see you. But in my own defense I saw two stangs leaving . As for my driving I have a push going on that i couldn't tune out that day,but it seemed to push less if I applied hard brake to transfer weight. Oh well live and learn ,Oh well I never said my driving style was the greatest either . But here is food for thought though Last year at the last meet I let one of the instructors drive it. Well he beat my time by a good 10 seconds on basically the same course. So I got a little learning to do. But maybe next time It will be warmer . As for that red 911 RS , That gentleman there has won the German autocross title two years in a row. I believe hehas more money tied up in that car than our club has tied up owning cars.

Must not be the same dude we are talkin about. Because I saw this car on a lift at the shop. It's got all wheel drive and a 94' model 3.6L turbo engine with upgraded turbos by Garret I believe. Not remembering the part# on the turbos.
I talked with him a little bit today and he told me about a Corvette kill he had runnin' against a buddy. If you want him Silas just remember, I told ya so!!

Yeah that blue Porsche gots turbos .But it still got smoked by that Focus that was out there, that is time wise of course through the autox. Also count in one camaro and 2 ZO6's and and all the c5's but one that got smoked also.

I didn't think he had turbo's. I do know he changed the exterior. Anywho I'd still like to run him. I've already smoke a 01 911TT so he should be in the same category unless he's got bigger turbo's.

He bought it like that from a German dude. And yes it has larger read: upgraded turbos. My guess is that it's tuned conservatively (based on nothing of course)
He's still new to that car, hasn't learned it yet. 911's are bass-ackwards to drive and definitely require some skill to navigate an auto-x. maybe he won't figure it out!
