Well to keep some of you informed I finally finished my BBK headers that I bought from Dave.... and let me tell you somthing they were a royal PITA!!!!! I don't think I ever want to venture down that road again! All I noticed is a little different of an idle... but performance I have no clue yet because no s#it the minute I got done with the headers it started to rain out! What a crock! This is the first time it has rained in about 2 weeks and it has to do it as soon as I get the ride done!
As far as my gears I got all of my stuff in the mail and made an appointment with Tony for the 27th! I can't get in any sooner because someone's BROKE DOWN WS6 is hogging up all of the workers! Gee I wonder who's that could be..... Just busting your balls Dave! Well thats all from the homefront for now! Later!

Glad you finally got the headers done. Are you ready to go out Thursday and see if they made a difference(weather permitting of course)? Let me know. It's the last day of my leave and I would like to see what they did for ya, before I spend the money on that project. Peace

Congrats on the install. Nothing like being able to do it yourself. Saves a ton of money too. Had a chance yet to see what the results were like? I think you can give Krazy a run for sure now.
Later,

I'm sure I'll be able to... once I find out where I'm throwing an engine code from and why I think it's misfireing! It's always one thing or another!

Scott
Since you got a miss and you just did the headers, It might be the plug or plug wire. I do remember headers and combined with the LT1 were not plug wire friendly.

Right on the money Roy. Same thing happened to me. Did you have the spark plugs in while changing the headers? Probably have one broken then. Or it could be one of the plug wires got roasted. Check rear passenger side first. It is the only one that burnt on me.

Checking on all of those items..... I have checked all of my plugs and all of them seem to be firing (no residue like fuel or anything on the them) but I'm having it put on the scanner tomarrow to check to see exactly which cyl has the problem... I have to have all of this done by sat!! That's when I'm due up at Tony's and tomarrow is my last day of leave!! Ehhhh!!!!!

Well I found what my issue was.... I had to spark to my #6 cylinder.... due to burnt spark plug wire. I have since re routed and replaced the wire (as well as add 2 sheets of heat resistant wrap to it) so I will see how long it actually lasts this time!
John, I made that sound a little off.... I will be heading up to Tony's on the 27th..... if you still want to go up there I'll meet you in K-Town since I don't really know the way as of now... and I'll also have to fill up by then. Just let me know!

So are you ready to run 'em? Give me a call before noon tomorrow and I will see what I can do. The afternoon is already booked up for me, plus it is suppose to rain in the afternoon. Glad to hear you got it worked out. Peace

Scott I'm a definite for Sat. Can you go early Sat morning? I'd like to get there by 9 if possible. So I can through my car on the lift real quick and fix the exhaust and be out of your way for the gears.
