what time you planning on heading up there? I can leave no earlier than 0830 as that's when I drop off the kid at the sitters.
How long to get up there? Not too familiar with that area.

I'd say from Kaiserslautern to the Wiesbaden meeting point you'll need about 1 hour.
(depends on how fast you drive, of course )
See you tomorrow...

Not gonna make it in time dudes and chicks. Maybe next time. It's hard to motivate a 2yr old sometimes.....usually when YOU are in a hurry. Ya'll have fun and don't beat up on too many Stangers otw there and back.
We've got an indoor Kart track nearby me maybe I'll get with Silas and organize a meet down here.

It's almost 0930 now and my daughter is still asleep! Planned to meet you at the Kart Track, already printed the directions of the routeplanner.
Usually she is awake at 0600 when I want to sleep long on Sundays... grrr

Ok I was at 1040h in Mainz-Hechtsheim, not a problem, but I did not find the Kart-Track. Won't use that Routeplanner again. Had a nice cruisin' over that old Bridge crossing the river to Kastel, Wiesbaden, towards lunch time I was driving over the parkinglot there if I may find any familiar looking cars...
difficult to find fbodypeople when they're not driving their fbodies...
What I really wanted to tell: On the A62 back to K-Town there was some silver (car or airplane?) flying by so fast that I could not even see what it was.
Wauw.

Well, it wasn't Roy's Camaro...
We were only three: Roy, Garry and I. So we skipped the kart racing and drove to the base to eat and drink something and to watch a headers installation (or at least the final part of it) on a new Z06.
BTW, Roy, have you been able to finish it? Shouldn't put the muffler on, it sounds awesome without...

So ya'll were BS'ing at a shop ???? That there's my favorite pastime. Wish I'd been there. Hey if you guys are feelin' skippy one weekend you can help me install some longtubes on me Cobra it's like a 9 hour job just so you know. I've been tossin' the idea around a bit. The longtube makers are real proud of them tho want like 8-900 clams !! Holy scnikies!!!
Kind of a measly turnout tho..... Ya'll need to let Silas convert this site into something Mustang friendly I know like 10 dudes that are chompin' at the bit for some sort of forum like this. Some would'nt associate themselves with an "F-Body" site tho. (old school)

Hm I really wish I could have found you.
Need a few more phonenumbers, maybe there is one of you
carrying the phone and not leaving it in the car.
I know THAT wasn't Roys car, he just called me back as I was getting off the Autobahn at Sembach.
I was enjoying the driving, wastet almost a tank full of gas going faster than Corollas supposed to go.
Kept the needle on the budd of the h.
Made it from Wiesbaden to Pirmasens in less than an hour.

Well guys it was pretty good meeting.
Garry won the long distance award.
Also there was a record set today.
We had less than half as many people since last time but twice as many Fbodies. There some higher math for ya.
That 3 hr header install turned into a 16 hr monster . We finally finished it up about 30 minutes before closing.
Come to find out that install was for a normal C5 not the ZO6 . I walk away an educaated man on this one.
I apologize Squirrel for not having my phone with me and that we missed you . We could of used a set of small hands to turn some wrenches in in that nightmare. Thanks for the extra effort though.
Every one else, Stuff happens that can't be controlled .
Till the next meet.
Make sure you sign in for the next one for the nurburgringin May.

CK I think we could help ya out one day. It'd be nice to see how difficult or easy it is to work on a stang. Learn a little more about our competition too.
I didn't think it matter'd all that much from a Z06 to a C5 same engine but I suppose they just moved some stuff around underneath. What color was the Z06 so I can be on the look out?

John
You wouldn't think there be that much difference , But once you bolt the headers to the car that is where the familiarty stops. The cats on a ZO6 are moved a few inches closer to the Stock Header than on a stock C5. But the instructions say nothing about that. It really messes up the calculations when cutting pipe and welding.
LESSON OF THE DAY: Never take instructions at face value.
