Talking w/ Bruce, Mike, and Brian. They would like to make a big showing for the BP station in Nuremburg the 3 May. They were telling me it's somtheing you don't want to miss and the attendance is 200-300+ cars till the wee hrs of the morning. Now I know everyone can't stay till 2 in the morning but a couple hrs there shouldn't be too bad for most.

For the K-town & Spang folks we could meet in K-town the usual meeting spot Vogelweh truck stop gas up and roll out. Then meet up w/ the southern guys and somewhere and do the same. Est time to get there is 2-3 hrs depending on the pace of course. It's well worth it. I don't know exactly when the place starts to get packed so Bruce could probably chime in and give more details.

I say we shoot to leave the K-town area around 6-30 7pm since some folks get off work around 5 they'll still need to get down here 1st.

If anyone comes up w/ a better idea how to do the times just post away. I'm game and will not miss this one. I'm free of the pager the next 3 wks! wohooo! :)

Aw, man, that's my last day at work! I'll have nothing but time after that! Rob will be on leave though--may actually let him roll out in my ride if his isn't back from Tony's yet. Hmmm, something to think about...

The BP place gets really packed at about 2130 so maybe it would be a good idea to meet around 2100, just to make sure everyone gets a lot

Is this Nurnberg(sp?) as in the one with the race track? If so it would be easier and quicker to meet at Spangdahlem as it only takes 1-2 hours max to get there from here. That is if there will be a few people from Spangdahlem going. Just a thought, as I will not be going. Peace

Sorry, must be all that beer I had for lunch. Still, I'm not so sure I want to stay out late Friday night if we're going out of town early Saturday morning anyway---oh well, you're driving anyway, so why should I care? Ask me again later and maybe I'll be game.

Paula :)

so.... what do they do down there??? Is this in a gas station parking lot? 2-300 cars??? I can't get a good mental image of the concept here. Sounds like it'll just be a$$holes and elbows/bumper-to-bumper.

Ya'll fill me in would ya? I'm new at this "meetin' at the Spot" stuff.

And I won't ask to convoy with the F-Bodies.....

Have you seen the movie Fast and Furious? If you have then that is what is going on. If not it is a imports street racing and talking smack. I must admidt the F-bodies AKA Hawk steals the scene when I let it stumble. Everybody is Kewl and friendly with a comman subject (cars and how to make them quicker) This is better than a show because it is so unpredictable and every weekend there is new people there.

Hey does anyone have a clue as to if anyone is staying over night there or anything? It will be a long boring drive home for me especially at 0300 in the AM....

Your sh** up and running ??? damn... talkin' smack and got one on jackstands. LOL
No man that wasn't me. My snake was in the Auto Skills Center parkin' lot all day. You'll know mine from a custom carbon fiber bonded on spoiler from Griggs racing. It looks like it's part of the trunk lid. Got a 45 deg rake and is VERY functional. Also I just painted the nostrils on the hood.... not sure if I like it yet. Might reverse it.
I'll upload some more pics (ones I took today)
:-fruit:
