Who are you? Where do you work?

I have been away from the board for awhile (and don't post much) and never caught who you were. From reading your posts I got that you are a mechanic on ramstein. Right?? What kind of mechanic??

Just wondering, I am also a mechanic on ramstein. I am an aircraft mechanic working at the enroute (AMC). Just thought it would be strange if you worked at the same shop i do and never cross paths.

I am a mechanic on automobiles at the Ramstein Auto Skills Center. I work on the full service side... not the do-it-yourself side. (please don't confuse me with the boneheads that work on the self help side.) I work for 86 Services. Wife is the military member this go round. I got out of the Army in 92.
Was stationed in Kitzingen when I was in. The wife loved military life so much she decides to join. Here I am :)
It's much cooler being a civilian.

You know Ray Tillman? He's an aircraft mechanic also. Buddy of mine ...drives the maroon 89 Mustang?

Sorry don't know your buddy.

I am glad your not part of them "boneheads" on the selfhelp side. I had them tell my friend that he needed to junk his car because it had a bad wheel bearing and a couple of torn steering boots, well we fixed it all for less than $70 in a day.

Anyway next time i am over there I'll come look you up so we can put a face with the posts, or maybe I'll just see ya at one of the meets. My car is down now for a rebuild (nothing special) so I don't think I be making any recent meetings.

Later
John
