Wasn't sure about posting here because it seemed to be a *men's-world-only* and I did not own a matching car but now that PT_Cruisin posted I do not feel so lonely anymore ;-)

Some of you may seen me before, was racing at Sembach Shootout and Halloween Hayride. Sorry about the Corolla, but at that time it was the only car I had and since the OSL is open to everybody I just wanted to run for fun, and I had too much fun!

Tried to find me another car all wintertime, but had bad luck, and also a broken ankle at the skate express with operation/platinum plate and screws following up.
Hardheaded as I am - time is running - I found this week a junky 86'Camaro 5.0 through ebay. No TÜV, parked in a backyard since almost 4 years. Try to get it running and through inspection, want it to be legal to go to Bitburg in Mai and worry about the details later on.

Did I mention that I have no more mechanical knowledge than maybe changing tires and oil? I want to learn, but please be patiened if I don't know right away what you are talking about.

I remember you at Sembach in tha Corolla ! wussup??

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger here ... I'm tha only Ford guy on here I think. Gotta keep an eye on tha competition.
Do you remember my miserable runs at Sembach ?? I was pathetic. Never dragged a day in my life. Spin City....

Sorry CK, I do not really remember many people...
I had my 5 year old daughter with me and to watch her between races and worry about her beeing by herself while racing and when I came around I was trying to find out how I did run and hunt after the slips. So I was a little stressed out especially towards the end when I had to run one after the other ;)
But I look forward to meet ya !

Sure enjoyed that Sembach shootout.

I´m no grand mechanic either, but will help where i can ;-)

Rgds,

Ram aka Dino

(You where the one that complained about my dented and bent license plates - right?)

If luck holds i´ll have a operable car this year !

yepp that was in Sembach... you had such a nice car (other then mine) and I thought: At least he could have put the plates on straight...
Hope they are straight when I see you next time! ;)
Are you coming to Bitburg?
Believe I also talked to you in Bitburg last year, you were asking about how to find a car in the states, I was up there with Tony, Don and Rick, all spectators at that one.

Thanks, will try my best @ the light ...
but I am still not having a fast car... my Camaro I bought is a peace of junk sitting in Tony's yard - and my wish to get it drivable for Bitburg... hm my starter is not in yet.
Wanted to buy another one, but either to expensive (not because I would not have the money, I just don't want to pay more for a car as I think what its value is) or need to be fixed also. One to fix is enough.
Guess I am driving the Corolla again. Means it will only be worth to do the bracket race, otherwise there is no chance.
But on Halloween the Corolla did good... 1st Trophy :) it took me two weeks before I started in believing it.
So of course, let's meet @ the light!

Thanks Bruce, you are really a sweet guy!
Like at least get that Camaro fired up so I can find out what else needs to be fixed.
